Answer:

Let 'x' be the value of original bill.

The deduction is 6%

So, deduction = (x*6)/100

Deduction = 6x/100

Now, according the question.

Original bill - deduction = Rs. 282

⇒ x - 6x/100 = 282

⇒ 94x= = 28200

⇒ x = 28200/94

⇒ x = Rs. 300

So, the original amount of bill is Rs. 300.
