The author of this chapter was Sudha murthy; she was very bright at studies. She was in the final year of her M.tech course at the Indian institute of science in Bangalore. At that time, this institution was known as the Tata institution. In her postgraduate department she was the only girl. She also wanted to go abroad to complete her doctorate in computer science.
