after a vigorous excercise or work we feel pain in muscles. what is the relationship between pain and resprition?

during vigorous exercise, we don't breathe much.
so here for our energy, lactic acid is accumulated in muscles which causes pain.
when we respire and take in oxygen after exercise, lactic acid levels come to normal and the pain decreases.
so if we respire we will not have pain
