Given discount = 15/2 = Rs. 7.5

Selling price = Rs.1110

marked price = ?

We know that,

discount = Marked price - selling price

So, marked price = discount + selling price

                            = 7.5 + 1110

                            = Rs. 1117.5

Step-by-step explanation:

let marked price =X

discount =X*7.5/100

so according to question

X-7.5X/100=1110

92.5X/100=1110

92.5X=1110*100

X=111000/92.5=1200

MARKED PRICE IS Rs 1200
