after the aliens have invaded and the major cities are destroyed, everthing looks bleak until a young girl noticed that there are footsteps in the field nea to her house which are of huma suddenly changing to grow big and in a different shape.

That’s how she knew that it was not aliens but humas with ssupernatural power trying to destroy the universe.
