After an ominous dream calpurnia begs Caesar to stay at home. At first he agrees but changes his mind because Decius Brutus flaters Caesar by interpretation of Calpurnia's dream in a good way. He says that the Roman people will get power through Caesar. The will keep the handkerchief with Caesar's blood as a memento. Decius also said that the cenaters have decided to give the crown to Caesar and if Caesar would not come today they may change their mind. In this way Decius succeeded to make Caesar come to the cenate for the accination.
