after any activity like exercise why does the person breathe heavily​

it is due to meet the oxygen requirement in the body....

as when we do exercise then our muscle cells require more oxygen to supply energy then our heart has to pump to more blood nd lungs to supply more oxygen resulting in breathe heaviy
