if 6 plants are leftover than plants arranged=790-6
                                                                    =784
as the plants are arranged in the form of a square
therefore plants in each row are=784/4
                                                   =196

Answer:

The final answer is 196.

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a fairly straightforward question. However before answering this question we need to understand a couple of basic concepts. First and Foremost, The gardener has arranged the mango plants in the shape of a square and a square has 4 sides with every side of the same size. We need to find the number of mango plants in each side.

Given.

Total Number of plants = 790

Plants left over = 6

Used plants = 790 - 6 = 784

From this we need to apply our first concept.

So Number of plants used in each side = 784 / 4 = 196
