The poem is set at the site of Battle and blenheim (1704), with the question of two children about skool one of them as found, Three grandfather an old man, tell them of burned house civilian coisolities the rotting copses while repeatedly calling if "a famous victory". The poem dipicts the common man ignorance of the motives of war.........
