the total distance of her journey = 40 km , Remaining distance = 22 km the time taken for the whole journey = 170 mins ( 2.833 hrs), Average Speed of Whole journey = 14.12 km/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

After cycling 18 km at an average speed of 12 km/h

=> time Taken = 18/12 = 1.5 hr = 90  Mins

she still has to cycle 55% of the total distance

=> Distance Covered  = 100 - 55 = 45%

D = Total Distance

=> (45 /100) D = 18 km

=> D = 40 km

the total distance of her journey = 40 km

Remaining distance = 40 - 18 = 22 km

completes the rest of her journey at an average speed of 16.5 km/h

Time taken = 22/16.5  = 1.33 hr = 80 mins

Time taken for whole journey = 90 + 80 = 170 mins  = 2.8333 hrs

Average Speed of Whole journey = 40/(170/60) = 14.12 km/Hr
