Answer ⬇️

Let cost of original bill be x rs

deducted price = 4% of x RS

=

 \frac{4}{100} \times x \\  \frac{1}{25}  \times x \\  \frac{x}{25}

deducted \: price \:  =  \frac{x}{25}

price \: after \: deduction \:  = x -  \frac{x}{25}  \\  =  \frac{25x - x}{25} \\  =  \frac{24x}{25}

price after deduction = 1488 RS ( Given )

1488 =  \frac{24x}{25} \\ 24x = 1488 \times 25 \\ 24x = 37200 \\ x =  \frac{37200}{24}  \\ x = 1550

The original bill was 1550
