How Executives are choosen :

• Executive is an organ of government which executes the laws.

• Executives consists of President, vice - president, Prime minister and ministers.

• However, president and vice President are selected by both the houses called as electoral collage.

• President is the nominal head of the country but the real head of executive is prime minister.

• Each and every thing is done by the orders of Prime minister.

• Prime minister is the member of ruling party and selected by the MPS.

• Prime minister is appointed by President of India.

• The other ministers are selected by the prime minister and appointed by President.

• Each minister has his own portfolio. They take care of their own fields like health, education, HDI etc.

Relation between Legislature and Executive :

• Legislature is another organ of government which makes the laws.

• There is great relation between the Legislature and executive.

• Legislature are the members of parliament.

• Legislature makes the laws on the wishes of the people.

• Those laws which were framed by the legislature are executed by executives.

• The laws become bills when prime minister and president accepts them.

The Lok Sabha election is held in various phases for different constituencies.

•First, the date of election is announced and then the nomination is filed.

•After the checking of nominations public comes for voting on the polling date.

•The counting is done on the day of result declaration and the results are declared at the end of the day.

•All this work is monitored by the Chief election commissioner and the election commission of the country.

The general elections of one of world's biggest democracy were held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19.

11th April: 91 constituencies in 20 states

18th April: 97 constituencies in 13 states

23rd April: 115 constituencies in 14 states

29th April: 71 constituencies in 9 states

6th May: 51 constituencies in 7 states

12th May: 59 constituencies in 7 states

19th May: 59 constituencies in 8 states

The voting began on 23rd May and result was announced on the same day.
