Our human eye is nothing but an advanced biological lens which works just like any camera.
We know if the camera lens becomes foggy or cloudy due to some reason the picture quality will be degraded of that particular camera.
Similarly cataract is the cloudyness of our human eye lens due to some biological reasons which decreases our eye-sight.
