After Filling in 36 litres of water, a tank remains empty by 28%. How much quantity of more water will be required to fill it completely?

After filling in tank with 36 liters, the tank is empty by 28%, so,
                                               the tank is 100% - 28% = 72 % full.

72 % full tank contains 36 liters
100 % full tank contains :  [/tex]100 * \frac{36}{72} liters = 50 liters [/tex]

Additional quantity of water needed to fill the tank to full extent:
     50 - 36 = 14 liters
