 \frac{23}{ {2}^{4} \times {5}^{3} } \\ = \frac{23}{ {(2 \times 5)}^{3} \times 2} \\ = \frac{23}{ {10}^{3} \times 2} \\ = \frac{23}{1000 \times 2} \\ = \frac{11.5}{1000} \\ = \frac{115}{10000} = 0.0115

hence decimal expansion of this will be upto four digits

Answer:

4 places

Step-by-step explanation:

given number,

23/(2^4 × 5^3)

23×5/(2^4 × 5^3 × 5)     [multiplying up and down with 5]

115  /(2^4 × 5^4)

115  /(2 × 5)^4

115  /(10)^4

115/10000

0.0115

hope it is correct
