First things first,
It's not infinity, it's the proportional sign that people use.
It may look like infinity sign but it is not one.
It may look like infinity sign but it is not one.Proportional sign indicates the dependence of a quantity on another. A quantity can be directly or inversely proportional to another quantity.
When we remove the proportionality sign we replace it with "k" which is a constant. It is one of the rules.
