Interview questions.
Explanation:
Me: Hi Grandpa, today, I watch the interview of Amitabh Bachchan on television, where he told the hardships that he faced during the early years of his career. So, I also want to know about the hardships you faced before becoming a successful businessman.
Grandfather: Okay. It's my pleasure to answer your question. You can start.
Me: Thank you, Grandpa. My first question is- at what age you start your business and what was it that inspired you to do so?
Grandfather: I started my business at the age of 27 when my father expired in an accident. Being the elder boy in the family, I had to look for everyone after my father. I faced many problems and hardships such as I had to work for long hours to get better work contracts. Thereafter, I had to choose the labor for the work. I had to look at all the spheres of the factory because there was no one whom I could trust.
Me: It would have been very difficult for you to look at all the things at the same time.
Grandfather: Yes. Sometimes, I had to work the whole night and sometimes I had no time to come home and have a meal with my family.
Me: So, your efforts would have given you more successes than failures, isn't it?
Grandfather: No. I had more failures than successes in the initial years of my business but the conditions began to change when I became experienced in the field.
Me: So, do you still worry about your business today?
Grandfather: Yes, I am. Just because I have given my everything to this business and I do not want to see it destroyed in my presence. This is the main reason why I usually visit the factory.
Me: Okay. Thank you, Grandpa.
Grandfather: Thank you, my son.
