After nitrification NO3 is transorted to the leaves but why does it converted into NH3 in the leaves.??? ​

Organisms like plants, fungi and certain bacteria that cannot fixnitrogen gas (N2) depend on the ability to assimilate nitrate or ammonia for their needs.
