2/3 of X + 20 = X

2X/3 +20 = X

(2X + 60)/3 = X { by taking LCM for 2X/3&20}

2X + 60 = 3X { by taking 3 to the RHS side}

60=3X - 2X { by taking 2x to the RHS side}

so X = 60

there fore number of pages in the book are 60
