Yes , i agree with the above mentioned statement . While the society is changing and strict laws are made to ensure no dowry is taken and girls are resoected , however the backward people still believe in dowry and when the daughter is wedded off , dowry is given to keep the girl . Things need to change or the society will perish. The first thing would be to introduce better education system and ensure proper implementation of education of all children . girls should be taught to be self sufficient and earn for themselves and boys should be taught to respect girls and fight against the dowry system .
