 \large \: \sf\underline{\underline{ {Question }}}:- \:

→ After spending 50 % of his income and giving 20% of the remainder ,man is left with 6000 .Find his income .

 \large \sf\underline{\underline{ \red{ {Answer }}}}:- \: \: \\ \\ \to \sf Rs. 15,000 \: \\ \\ \large \: \sf\underline{\underline{ { \blue{To \: Find}}}}:- \: \: \\ \to \bf \: his \: income \:

\large \: \sf\underline{\underline{ { \purple{Solution}}}}:- \: \ \\ → \sf Let \: \: his \: income \: is \: x \: \:

He spending 50 % of his income -

→ 50 % of x → 0.5 x

hence , remaining amount of his salary -

→ x - 0.5x = 0.5 x

Now ,20 % of remainder -

 \mapsto \sf \: 20\% \: \: of \: \: 0.5x \: \\ \\ \: \sf \: = \frac{20}{100} \times 0.1x \\ \\ \: \sf \: = 0.1 x

Therefore ,

Total used of salary

 \mapsto \sf \: 0.1x + 0.5x = 0.6x \\

Hence, men used 0.6x of his salary ,so remainder is -

 \implies \sf x - 0.6x = 0.4x \\

so ,left of his salary = 0.4x

It is given that Rs. 6000

 \mapsto \sf 0.4x = 6000 \\ \\ \mapsto \sf \: x = \frac{60000}{4} \\ \\ \mapsto \sf \: x = 15,000 \:

Hence ,his salary is Rs. 15,000
