Let the monthly income =Rs.x

=69%

Spent =x×(69/100)

=0.69x

saved amount =x−0.69x=0.31x

=

100

31x

It is given that saved amount =Rs.2108

So,

100

31x

=2108

⇒31x=2108×100

⇒x=

31

2108×100

⇒x=Rs.6800

∴ His monthly income x=Rs.6800

Answer:

Let the monthly income =Rs.x

=64%

Spent = x × ( 64/100)

= 0.64x

saved amount =x−0.64x=0.31x

 \frac{31x}{100}

given that saved amount =Rs.2592

hence, 31x/100 = Rs.2592

⇒ 31x=2592×100

⇒x = 2592 x 100/31

⇒x=Rs. 8361

∴ hence or therefore His monthly income x=Rs 8361
