Let the monthly income be rs. 100x.
76% of monthly earning is spent.
So, money spent
= rs. {(76/100)*100x}
= rs. 76x
So, money saved
= rs. (100x- 76x)
= rs.24x
According to question,
24x = 2244
or, x = 2244÷24
or, x = 93.5
So, monthly income
= rs. 100x
= rs. ( 100×93.5 )
= rs. 9350 ( answer)

Answer:

Monthly income = x

Total of (100% - 76%) = 24%

According to the question,

24% of x is 2244

So, 24/100*x = 2244

x= 2244*100/24

x= 9350₹

Verify -

76% of 9350 is 7106

and

total income - savings = total expenditure

9350-2244=7106
