After the death of a girl or a woman, how can we know whether she was a Hindu

We can know by seeing the last rites in her funeral.

You can identify whether the girl/woman is a Hindu by the sun-tan in her body.  Starting from toes, if she had been a Hindu married girl, she would have toe-ring tan.  Around the neck region, the tan of wearing chain and if they check the chest region, there will be marks.  On the fore-head, the tan of bindhi and the sindhoor.  Nowadays, not many are following strictly.  So, from the last ritual, one can understand whether the dead is Hindu or not.
