After travelling 10 km a man found out that 1/3 office journey was still left ,how long was his total journey??

let the distance of his office journey be x....
from the question he covered has to cover 1/3x distance to reach office....
this means he has already covered (x-1/3x)= 2/3x....and that distance is given in question as 10 km
so 2/3x= 10
x= 15km
