Here is your answer.
P = Rs 2000
A = Rs 2240
R = 4%
SI = A - P
= 2240 - 2000
= Rs 240

As we know the formula
TIME = SI × 100/PR

 =  \frac{240 \times 100}{2000 \times 4}  \\  \\  = 3 \: years

Therefore Time is 3 years
