Let the age of shashi be x.

then Shashi mother's age be 11 + 2x.

According to Question:

${\sf ~~~~~\implies ~~ 11+2x= 39}$

• Subtracting both sides by 11.

${\sf ~~~~~\implies ~~ 2x - 11= 39 - 11}$

${\sf ~~~~~\implies ~~ 2x=28}$

• Dividing both sides by 2

${\sf ~~~~~\implies ~~ \dfrac{2x}{2} = \dfrac{28}{2} }$

${\sf ~~~~~\implies ~~ x = 14 }$

• Hence the age of shashi be 14 year's .
