x = 10 + y

Case:2 After 4 years age of elder brother become 2 times the age of younger brother

(x+4) = 2(y+4)

x -2y = 4

on putting value of x in this eq

10 + y -2y =4

-y = -6

y = 6years ( age of younger brother)

x = 10 + 6 = 16 years ( age of elder brother)
