Given :

• Age of Nandu is 10 more than the age of Anu.
• Age of Manu is 3 years more than twice the age of Nandu.
• Sum of their ages is 53.

To Find :

• Age of Nandu , Manu and Anu.

Solution :

$\longmapsto\tt{Let\:the\:Age\:of\:Nandu=x}$

As Given that Age of Nandu is 10 more than that age of Anu and Manu is 3 year more than twice the age of Nandu. So ,

$\longmapsto\tt{Age\:of\:Anu=x-10}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Age\:of\:Manu=2x+3}$

A.T.Q :

$\longmapsto\tt{x+x-10+2x+3=53}$

$\longmapsto\tt{2x+2x-10+3=53}$

$\longmapsto\tt{4x-7=53}$

$\longmapsto\tt{4x=53+7}$

$\longmapsto\tt{4x=60}$

$\longmapsto\tt{x=\cancel\dfrac{60}{4}}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bf{x=15}$

Value of x is 15...

Therefore :

$\longmapsto\tt{Age\:of\:Nandu=x}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bf{15\:years}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Age\:of\:Anu=15-10}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bf{5\:years}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Age\:of\:Manu=2(15)+3}$

$\longmapsto\tt{30+3}$
