Let the age of sujal be x.
Then the age of Renu = 3x.
FOUR YEARS LATER
Sujal's age = x+4
Renu's age = 3x+4
Given,
=> x+4 + 3x + 4 = 40
=> 4x + 8 = 40
=> 4x = 32
=> x = 8 years
Thus,
Sujal's age= 8 years
Renu's age= 24 years
Then the age of Renu = 3x.
