The age of Sunita is 10 years and that of the Mohan is 5 years

Given :

• Age of Sunita is twice then age of Mohan.
• After 5 years age of Sunita will be 3 times of Mohan's age

To Find :

• The present age of Sunita and Mohan

Solution :

Let us consider the present age of Sunita be x years and that of Mohan be y years

According to question

$\sf \implies x =2y\longrightarrow (1)$

And again by question

$\sf \implies x+5=\dfrac{3}{2} (y+5)\\\\ \sf\implies 2 (x+5)=3(y+5)\\\\ \sf\implies 2x+10=3y+15 \\\\ \sf \implies 2x-3y = 5 \\\\ \sf \dagger \: \: Putting \: the \: value \: of \: x \: in \: above \: equation \\\\ \sf \implies 2(2y) - 3y = 5 \\\\ \sf\implies 4y - 3y = 5 \\\\ \sf\implies y = 5$

Thus the age of Mohan is 5 years

Now from (1) we have ,

$\sf\implies x = 2(5) \\\\ \sf\implies x = 10$

Therefore, the age of Sunita is 10years
