Answer:

A)19 KMPH

Step-by-step explanation:

SPEED OF THE SECOND TRAIN =  P

Let the speed of the slower train = p kmph

ATQ,

Speed of the faster train = (p + 6) kmph

Then,

(p + p + 6) x 5 = 160

10p + 30 = 160

10p = 130

p = 13 kmph

Then, speed of the faster train = p + 6 = 13 + 6 = 19

kmph.

Let the speed of the slow train be x km/h

Speed of fast train = x + 6 km/h

Distance, d = 160km

Meeting time, t = 5hrs

consider Agra to Delhi as +ve direction

Hence relative speed, Vr = Vfast – Vslow

Vr = x + 6 – ( – x )

Vr = x + 6 + x

Vr = 2x + 6

We know Speed = distance / time

2x + 6 = 160 / 5

2x + 6 = 32

2x = 32 – 6

2x = 26

x = 26 / 2

x = 13

Speed of the faster train = x + 6 = 13 + 6 = 19 kmph

( A ) is the correct answer.
