When we look at the production materials, products, and foodstuffs produced or raised from or on the land, we are talking about agriculture, which is a blanket term for farming, animal husbandry, and timber production. Farming is normally raising crops planted in the ground, such as row crops, orchards, vineyards, hydroponics, or aquaponics. We can have a cotton farmer, or a crayfish farmer, they grow different things in different media, but they both farm.
Animal husbandry is the business of raising cattle, hogs, poultry, or other animals for food or fiber markets. It grows or depends on farmers to grow feed for the livestock, and it is a segment of the agricultural industry.
Timber (not specifically mentioned in the question) is another agriculture industry, producing lumber, pulp products for papers, and other products derived from trees.
Farming is also a general term for agriculture, we can reasonably call timber producers ‘’tree farmers’’, and livestock producers hog or chicken farmers, and be accurate.
That's all
