I think it should be 20.66℅ ??

Anamika1111: sorry
neerajdhanik1oznvt1: no prob. it's a lengthy calculation. if you want the solution. i can post
Anamika1111: plz post it to me
neerajdhanik1oznvt1: ok i am having lunch. i will send after some time
Anamika1111: ok
neerajdhanik1oznvt1: 96000*(2/5)=38400
6% loss =2304
10% profit on whole =9600
means get profit of remaining part =9600+2304=11904
Cost price of remaining part(3/5)= 57600
Profit=((G%)/100)*CP
11904=((G%)/100)*57600
G=20 2/3℅
neerajdhanik1oznvt1: 10% of 96000 = 9600

2/5 of 96000 = 38400

6% of 38400 = 2304

To earn (9600+2304) profit to make the total profit of 10%

So, required P % = 11904/57600 * 100 = 20 2/3 %
neerajdhanik1oznvt1: smjh aa rha he?
neerajdhanik1oznvt1: 10% of 96000 = 9600 and 2/5 of 96000 = 38400 and 6% of 38400 = 2304 To earn (9600+2304) profit to make the total profit of 10% so required P % = 11904/57600 × 100 = 20 2/3 %
neerajdhanik1oznvt1: last solution is easy to understand
