Quadratic equation is

2x+14 =4x-8

Bring all the x co-efficients to one side and constants to one side , then we get

  1. 4x-2x=14+8
  2. 2x=22
  3. x= 22/2=11

  • so for the value of x = 11 the given equation is suitable

Answer:

Let x be the unknown

1st line=2x+14

2nd line =4x-8

Therefore, since the results are the same

The equation,

2x+14=4x-8

2x-4x=-8-14

-2x=-22

Divide both sides by the coefficient of x

-2x/-2 =-22/-2

X=11

Thanks
