It will be much easier if we solve it by parts!!!
we'll take loss as -ve & profit as +ve.
Let the left part which is (1-2/5)= 3/5 ,be sold at x%
then,the overall profit =12%
2/5(-6%) + 3/5(x%)= 12%
-12/5% + 3/5x% = 12%
(3x-12)/5%=12%
3x-12= 60
x=24
Therefore Rest of part should be sold at 24% profit
