Answer: The remaining part of the plot is sold at 20.67% of gain.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Worth of plot of land = Rs. 480000

At a loss of 6%, \frac{2}{5} sold .

On whole transaction , he gain of 10% .

We need to find the gain percent on selling the remaining part of the plot to gain of 10% on whole transaction.

We will use " Mixture Allegation":

          Gain           Loss

             x                  -6

                       10

--------------------------------------------------

     16              :           x-10

Since it is sold in the ratio of 3:2.

As at loss of 6% it sold only \frac{2}{5} and on gain of x% it sold only \frac{3}{5}

According to question,

\frac{16}{x-10}=\frac{3}{2}\\\\16\times 2=3(x-10)\\\\32=3x-30\\\\32+30=3x\\\\62=3x\\\\x=\frac{62}{3}\\\\x=20.67\%

Hence, the remaining part of the plot is sold at 20.67% of gain.
