covered \frac{1}{3} of his journey by train and the  he covered rest of the journey by car .

So , let total journey he covered be x .

Therefore , we have

Total distance  he covered by cycle = \frac{3x}{5} and

total distance he covered by train = \frac{x}{3}

Now, the distance covered by car

= total distance - (distance covered by cycle + distance covered by train)

⇒ distance covered by car = x - (\frac{3x}{5}  + \frac{1}{3} ) = \frac{15x -9x -5x}{15}  = \frac{x}{15} .

Hence , he covered \frac{1}{15} of his journey by car .
