Age of Ahmed's father=3x years

After 12 years

Age of Ahmed=x+12 years

Age of Ahmed's father=3x+12 years

According to question

3x+12=2(x+12)

3x+12=2x+24

x=12 years

Ahmed's age=12 years

Ahmed's father's age=36 years

Solution:-

Let the age of Ahmed be x and his Father be y years.

$x = 3 y$

• After 12 years.

Ahmed age = x + 12

His father age = y + 12

A/Q.

→$x + 12 = 2 (y+12)$

→$x + 12 = 2y + 24$

→$x -2y = 24-12$

→$x -2y = 12$

• put the value of x.

→$3y -2y = 12$

→$y = 12$

hence,

Ahmed age will be 12 years.

→ y = 3x

→ y = 3 × 12

→ y = 36 years.

Father age will be 36 years.
