because , there are many historical places situated there . it has a very large and

good collection of history , giving a beautiful introduction to history .

while ,Haryana was carved out of Punjab on 1st November 1966, as the 17th Indian state. There are diverse interpretations about the origin of the name of Haryana. In ancient time, this region was known as Brahmavarta, Aryavarta and Brahomoupdesa.
