All the places in Subtropical zone will experience overhead sun twice in a year as sun is apparently moving in the subtropical zone. We already know that India was divided into two parts by tropic of cancer as southern part is in Subtropical zone and northern part is out of sub tropicak zone. Ahmedabad is situated in southern side of India so it will experience the overhead sun twice in a year.
And also ,
because there are only two days each year when day equals night (the equinox) because the earth 's tilt remains constant as it orbits the sun. The equinox occur on opposite sides of the sun each orbit. Ahmedabad must be at a location on earth where the sun is directly overhead at noon during the equinox.
If helpful !
