Answer: 5.63 g

Given,

Density of the sea water = 1.03 g cm^{-3}

As we all know,

Density = \frac{mass}{volume}

Here,

Mass of 1 litre = 1000cm^{3} of the sea water

Mass = volume × density (from above)

        = 1000 cm^{3} × 1.03 g cm^{-3}

         = 1030 g

Thus,

1030 g of sea water contain 5.8 ×10^{-3} g of dissolved oxygen.

Therefore,

Mass of oxygen present in 10^{6} (one million) g of sea water =

=> \frac{5.8* 10^{-3} }{1030} × 10^{6}

=> 5.63 g

Hence, the concentration of dissolved O_{2} in sea water is 5.63 g
