Ahoy!
Tell me if this reaction is possible or not ,(and it is most possibly correct reaction as per me):-
CuO + HCl =====> CuCl2 + H2O
And if this is possible then clear me out that,
How Copper(Cu) displaced Hydrogen (H2) from hydrochloric acid(HCl) as in reactivity series Hydrogen is above Copper and hence more reactive than Copper?
(Spammers go get a life)
I need a serious answer with correct and at the point explaination.
Thanks =]

reactivity of cu is less than H so it cant displace cu.
but here H has displaced Cu.
and cl get combine with Cu
and it is possible .
it's best answer and correct also.
I'm sure please mark it as brainlist

You can take it the other way round, instead of Cu displacing H, you can say H displaced Cu, and hence reaction satisfies the category
Base + Acid → Salt + Water
Base + Acid → Salt + Water
