If schools aim to teach loyalty I don’t see signs of success. Loyalty in its widest sense ought to promote loyalty in relationships and they seem more fleeting than ever. During the pandemic there seemed to be many ignoring government advice so there doesn’t seem much loyalty to gov nor to consideration to neighbours. In contrast there has been a section of the population who have reached out to neighbours to help. It is heartbreaking to know that a minority have chosen to act like trolls or in otherways try and negate those who set a good example.
