Photosynthesis is the process to convert light energy into chemical energy for  making the food in plants.

There are some essential products such as sunlight, water, carbon-dioxide etc.

we have to take two plants first one kept in normal light and second one in dark room for 2-3 days.

After 2-3 days take both the plants leaves and boil in it alcohol solution for removing the green pigment from the leaves.

by dipping iodine solution on leaves we conclude that sunlight is necessary for photosynthesis.
