Aim: To find whether the given materials are soluble or insoluble in water.

Requirement Checklist: Four glass tumblers, water, a tablespoon, sugar, chalk powder, mustard
oil and vinegar.

Procedure:Fill the four glass tumblers up to 3/4 of their volume with water. Add two tablespoons of sugar, chalk powder, mustard oil and vinegar separately into different tumblers. Stir with the
tablespoon to mix the materials in water. Leave them for a few minutes and observe.

Observation:Name the substances whose particles are visible after mixing in water.
