Aim: To observe onion cells having different shapes. Materials required: onion, scissors, forceps, slides, iodine solution and cover slip Procedure: Take an onion. Now, peel it off and cut it longitudinally and remove a leaf from inside. Now, with the help of forceps, remove the thin layer from inside the scale leaf. Cut the scale leaf with the help of scissors into a small piece of square shape. Place this section on the slide and put a drop of diluted iodine solution on it. Now, put the cover slip on the slide gently. Observe under a microscope with low and high power. Nucleus Cells What did you observe?​
