AIM: To plot the distance vs time graphs for uniform motion MATERIALS NEEDED: Graph paper, pencil METHOD: 1. Take the speed at which the body moves as 10 m/s 2. Calculate the distance travelled by the body every second 3. Take the time on the x-axis and distance travelled on the y-axis 4. Plot the distance vs time graph on a centimeter graph sheet taking 1cm= 1 s 5. Repeat the steps 2-4 for a speed of 50 m/s on the same graph sheet 6. Observe the graphs obtained for different speeds a) Find the nature of the graph obtained b) What kind of motion is obtained- uniform/non-uniform?
