Materials Required: Wheat seeds, glass tumbler, water, spoon.

Procedure: Fill the tumbler half with water. Put a handful of wheat seeds in it and stir
well. Observe carefully.

After doing this activity, we will observe that some seeds will settle down on the surface of the glass tumbler and some floats on the water. The seeds which settle down on the surface of the glass tumbler and healthy seeds and the seeds which floats on the water are the damaged one as they are porous and defected.
