Aim: To study the conduction of water through a plant body

Materials required: A small twig with white flowers, beaker, water and food colour (red)

Procedure: Leave the twig overnight in coloured water.Observe the colour of the flowers the next day. Cut a thin transverse section
of the stem and observe it under a microscope.
